Maintenance and Monitoring Engineer

The Maintenance and Monitoring Engineer provides remote and onsite technical assistance to Systeem Medical clients as well as to the company's own internal network. Shift schedules vary from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM central time, but can vary depending on the needs of the project being worked. Essential functions include:

  • Use network monitoring systems, such as Nagios and N-able, to monitor client and Systeem Medical outages and performance issues within monitored networks. 
  • Analyze infrastructure and perform technology audits to produce policies and recommendations based on HIPAA and HITECH guidelines.
  • Perform actions required to resolve tickets and provide detailed documentation as to actions taken to resolve issues, client network information, client communications, expenses and time within Systeem Medical's ticketing software, Connectwise.
  • Interface with a client’s vendors to resolve technological issues to clients’ satisfaction.
  • Provide on-call support after hours as needed.
  • Travel outside the DFW Metroplex may be required.

Field Service Engineer

The Field Service Engineer provides remote and onsite technical assistance to Systeem Medical clients as well as to the company's own internal network. Shift schedules vary from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM central time, but can vary depending on the needs of the project being worked. Essential functions include:

  • Use network monitoring systems, such as Nagios and N-able, to monitor client and Systeem Medical outages and performance issues within monitored networks. 
  • Perform actions required to resolve tickets and provide detailed documentation as to actions taken to resolve issues, client network information, client communications, expenses and time within Systeem's ticketing software, ConnectWise.
  • Interface with a client’s vendors to resolve technological issues to clients’ satisfaction.
  • Provide on-call support after hours as needed.
  • Travel outside the DFW Metroplex may be required.

Help Desk Technician

Help Desk Technicians provide remote and occasional onsite technical assistance to Systeem Medical clients and to the company's own internal network. Shift schedules vary from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM central time, but can vary depending on the needs of the project being worked. Essential functions include:

  • Using network monitoring systems, such as Nagios and N-able, to monitor client and Systeem Medical outages and performance issues within monitored networks
  • Performs actions detailed in tickets assigned to them and records actions taken to resolve issues, necessary contact information, client network information, expenses and time within Systeem's ticketing software, Connectwise.
  • Interfaces with clients and their vendors to resolve network issues to clients’ satisfaction
  • Provides initial ticket triage and best efforts in troubleshooting service outages and helpdesk requests before escalating to next internal support level
  • Creation and management of service tickets, including attending to follow-up calls, shipment tracking, and ticket budget checks
  • Creation of PO within ticketing system and updating tickets with correct tracking information
  • Various Connectwise administrative tasks as assigned by Operations Manager
  • Remains in contact with Service Manager and Operations Manager
  • Provides on-call support after hours as needed
  • Works collaboratively with service team and entire Systeem Medical staff to achieve client business goals by providing essential job functions.

Developer

The Developer is responsible for development of applications, documentation, and quality assurance for various projects assigned by the Director of Product Development. The hours required are generally 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but can but can vary depending on the needs of the project being worked. Essential functions include:

  • Participating in departmental and project meetings
  • Establishing a detailed program specification through discussion with various stakeholders
  • Breaking down program specification into its simplest elements and translating this logic into a programming language
  • Understanding and devising solutions for project requirements and application bugs
  • Working as part of a team
  • Reacting to problems and correcting the developed application as necessary
  • Evaluating and increasing the program's effectiveness
  • Adapting the program to new requirements, as necessary
  • Conducting unit and regression testing
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of the application for users and system administrators
  • Consulting manuals, periodicals and technical reports to learn new ways to develop programs and maintain existing skills and knowledge
  • Working with the other Systeem Medical departments to help our clients reach their goals
